Sales and Admin Executive


Distant Lands is a young and dynamic drinks wholesaler established three years ago. We started the business selling some incredible and rare craft beer across the country & have more recently expanded into the wonderful world of small batch wine and high-quality spirits.


We are looking for an enthusiastic versatile person who gets things done to be a key part of our small team and grow with us. This role is a varied role incorporating tasks across sales & admin. We need someone who can be flexible, focused and is adept at using new software systems, is organized and has an interest in refining and running processes for sales and administration tasks. This is also a sales role, so talking to people on the phone and being able to connect with our customers is at the heart of what Distant Lands is about. We hope over the coming years to gradually add to our incredible team, which means there is a huge amount of room for personal growth if you’re willing to give us your time, energy and dedication.



  • Weekly Dispatch
  • Checking in Stock & General Warehouse Operations and cleaning
  • Van Runs to Local accounts and pallet collection
  • Stock Management 


  • Delivering Sales Tasks
  • Customer Account Management
  • Contributing to company sales initiatives
  • Entering PO’s onto our Stock System
  • Entering products on to our Stock System
  • Compiling weekly stock lists
  • Invoicing and Stock Management
  • UK Logistics
  • Dispatch Coordinator


  • Attending festivals and Events as required


Location:  Newmarket, Cambridge 

Salary: £26,500 per annum
