News

After quite the influx of import beer in the last few weeks we wanted to focus on one of our favourites this week – ĀRPUS with some brand new super sours and IPA’s in small pack & 20L kegs. These Latvian fruited sours are a sleeping giant amidst the usual suspects in the category and we’ve got three new brand spanking new additions for you to try. Add to this a brand new beer from Swiss mixed-Ferm legend À TUE-TÊTE and some of our favourites from these shores.

New brews from PASTORE – coming with a SALAMA COLLAB! Fresh BURNING SKY including a CASK beer for all you real ale lovers out there- and BARON with their monthly beery blessings. Please note that due to festival demands we have a lower allocation of Baron package than normal. Not for ever though – normal allocations will resume soon 🙂

FEATURED BEERS

🇱🇻 ARPUS
Damn these beers are good. We love their understated design that like their beers is consistent and to the point. We have some brand new package sours from Riga inc. ‘But Where Is The Passionfruit?’ – excuse it’s ironic title – it’s an impy sour obviously stuffed to the gills with the lil’ sweet and sour critters. There’s more fruits and touch of vanilla to play with in the  Blackcurrant x Mango x Passionfruit x Vanilla Sour too! Snap ’em up!

🇨🇭À TUE TÊTE
When we first released these beers into the UK we got terrific feedback, beers with great balance. We have a small parcel of stock inc. ‘Peche Abricot’ & ‘Vendange Rouge’ made with lovely Swiss red grapes, but brand new this week is the ‘Vendange Blanche’. Starting as the barrel aged golden base sour before sauvignon blanc grapes are added. They have been working closely with a local grape farmer using organic practices, the grapes are then de-stemmed and left to macerate in the beer for 3 months before packing. Abundant notes of gooseberry and grass. Perfecto!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 BARON
Boogie on down to Baron town and hit the ‘Jazz Club‘! NICE!
Like Gaulois cigs and black roll necks, this’ll split opinion.  A jazzy, tropical, coconutty and oaky pale ale with dangerous sessionability. Hopped with HBC 472 (a close sister of Sabro) and El Dorado. Weird and wonderful. ‘Murk‘  DIPA, a big, punchy murky tin of fruity soup weighing in at 8%, is its partner in crime. *Cases max 1 per customer.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 PASTORE
Three new beers from the Pastore stable inc. their recent Salama collab – a sea buckthorn pastry sour with coconut and vanilla. ‘Pours a vivid orange hue with both tropical & citrus notes, with rich dessert coconut and a smooth & sour finish.’ OOFT!   ‘Pompelmo‘ is also released – you know we’re fans of the low abv – at 2.8%, full of grapefruit and sub fifty quid a case, this IS NOT to be slept on. Go, go go!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 BURNING SKY
It’s not often we get cask, but we’ve a cracker for you here with ‘NZPA‘. All the Kiwi hops…and then a few more in this dry-hopped beauty from Burning Sky. They’ve also bestowed another low ABV upon us with the classic ‘Petite Saison‘. At just 3.5% this is another perfectly pitched beer to add to your ‘sensible drinkers’ section 🙂
The extra time lagered ‘Luppoleto Pils‘ completes line up.
